Description
A limited edition art print – view of Jenny Brown’s Point, Silverdale, Lancashire UK, on the edge of the Lake District. The edition is limited to 20 impressions.
Jenny Brown’s Point on the Silverdale coast features the iconic and isolated chimney, believed to be part of an 18th Century copper smelting operation. The beach here extends northward past Jack Scout to Silverdale and Arnside, and is a great place to sketch, paint and enjoy endless skies. The wind can be bracing as evidenced by the swept yew trees that line the cliff tops.
This print has been created using vegan printing ink, and as with all my lino work it is are created using a small press and some hand finishing. Variation in colour and appearance is a natural part of the hand-finished lino print process.
The printed area measures 15cm x 10cm
If you like this view, you should see my related limited-edition print ‘The Beach, Silverdale’, which shows the rugged cliffs, windswept trees and shimmering sunlight of the beach at Jack Scout, just up the coast from this site. There is a single print of this currently available under the limited editions section of the site – number 11 of 20.
