Description
Nine Stones Close near Birchover in Derbyshire dates from the Bronze Age. It is a stone’s throw from Stanton in Peak, home to the Nine Ladies stone circle, Doll Tor, a barrow cemetery and other sites of ancient activity.
The area is rich in ancient sites, breath-taking views, and natural rock features. You can read more about this circle at the Megalithic Portal.
This print is a wood engraving with a print area measuring 61mm wide by 40mm high, showing a view of the circle with the rock formation Robin Hood’s Stride in the background.
Some license has been taken in the depiction of the formation, to balance the composition.

This print is despatched in a card-backed envelope with additional protective layers, and delivery is included in the price.
