The Beach, Silverdale limited edition yellow ochre linocut number 11 of 20

Description

A limited edition linocut print of the beach at Silverdale, Lancashire UK, on the edge of the Lake District. The edition is limited to 20 impressions.

Most of this edition is now sold and this is certainly the last in the edition printed in yellow ochre. For reasons unknown this print is editioned and titled, but I have not signed it. A certificate of authenticity may be provided if required. The paper has some press creases at the edges of the printed area and towards the top of the paper some marks, but these will surely be covered by a suitably cut mount.

This variant uses Daler-Rowney Georgian block printing medium and Michael Harding colours. All prints are created using a small press and some hand finishing. Variation in colour and appearance is a natural part of the hand-finished lino print process.

The printed area measures 15cm x 10cm
