A digital print inspired by the city of Sophronia from Italo Calvino’s novel.

Description
This is a digital artwork I created as part of my Invisible Cities series – prints, paintings, sketches and designs inspired by or resonant of the stories created in the novel by Italo Calvino.
Sophronia is a city of two halves, a city of permanence and gravity alongside an ephemeral and frivolous one. Periodically one half of the city packs up and moves on.
This image considers Sophronia as a whole, and the relative values placed on different concerns among its citizens.
This print has been professionally produced by a digital print house from my original design onto 250gsm white card stock.
The print is despatched in a card-backed envelope with additional protective layers, and delivery is included.
