Cherhill Down and the White Horse – original linocut in yellow ochre

Description
This is a handmade linocut print showing the White Horse figure and Lansdowne Monument on Cherhill Downe, Wiltshire, a yellow ochre variant of the black and white version available here.
The print area is approximately 200mm wide by 140mm high on an A4-sized sheet. Ideal for an A4 landscape 10 x 8 inch frame when used with a carefully selected mount. This is an unframed, unmounted handmade print.
I created this print with a small rolling press and some hand finishing with baren and wooden spoon, using professional oil-based and vegan relief printing ink. I choose materials designed to produce a long-lasting, archive-quality print with a small environmental footprint.
As with all relief printing, variation in appearance is a natural part of the hand-finished lino print process.
Print:
Paper size: A4 landscape (approximately 297mm x 210mm)
Printed area: approximately 200mm wide by 140mm
This is an open edition.
