Sudley House Handmade August (and November!)

Photo of the opulent interior of the library at Sudley House in Liverpool, with green wallpaper and gilt framed paintings on the walls. In the foreground is a print stall showing linocuts and wood engravings of different sizes. A linocut of Southport Pier sits in a print brower before a table, while on the table amont smaller prints can be seen a large print of a megalith under incandescent lighting.

Just a quick one, I’ve not been updating the site as I ought to so this is a late share of how much I enjoyed taking part in Sudley House Handmade this August.

I’ve known of Sudley House since I was a student at Liverpool Art School, and visited some pretty specials exhibitions they’ve held there (Mrs Tinne’s Wardrobe being a particular highlight).

It was a particular honour to be invited to share my prints in such wonderful surroundings and surrounded by so many talented artisans.

More surprising is that I’ve been asked to return this November. Watch this space for new works I hope to debut there.

The photo shows my stall from August, featuring my latest linocut Listen to Meg which is now available in the print shop.
